Abstract
The invention is directed to a motorcycle axle holder for use with a motorcycle stand. The motorcycle stand has a first cylindrical member extending from a substantially vertical cylindrical member and the motorcycle stand is configured to lift an end of a motorcycle off a surface for removal of a motorcycle axle and wheel therefrom. The motorcycle axle holder includes a main body and a clamp removable secured to each other around either the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand or the substantially vertical cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand. The invention also includes an angle axle hole positioned in the main body and configured to receive and hold one end of a motorcycle axle.
Claims15
A motorcycle axle holder for use with a motorcycle stand, wherein the motorcycle stand has a first cylindrical member extending from a substantially vertical cylindrical member and the motorcycle stand is configured to lift an end of a motorcycle off a surface for removal of a motorcycle axle and wheel therefrom, the motorcycle axle holder comprising:
- a main body and a clamp removably secured to each other around either the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand or the substantially vertical cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand;
- and
- an angle axle hole positioned in the main body and configured to receive and hold one end of a motorcycle axle, and wherein
- the main body is defined to include:
- (a) a frame having a front end and a distal rear end;
- (b) a front leg extending from the front end, and the front leg having a front concave terminal edge;
- and (c) a rear leg extending from the distal rear end, and the rear leg having a rear concave terminal edge;
- and
- the clamp is defined to include:
- (a) opposing distal edges;
- and (b) a curved middle portion positioned between the distal edges,
- the curved middle portion of the clamp and the front and rear concave terminal edges on the main body are configured to sit against a perimeter of the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand;
- and
- fasteners to secure the clamp to the front leg wherein the curved middle portion of the clamp and the front concave terminal edges secure against the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand

- a main body and a clamp removably secured to each other around either the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand or the substantially vertical cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand;
- and
- an angle axle hole positioned in the main body and configured to receive and hold one end of a motorcycle axle;
- and
- wherein the main body is defined to include:
- (a) a frame having a front end and a distal rear end, (b) a front leg extending from the front end, and the front leg having a front concave terminal edge, (c) a rear leg extending from the distal rear end, and the rear leg having a rear concave terminal edge, and (d) wherein the front end has a forward concave terminal edge;
- and
- wherein the clamp is defined to include:
- (a) opposing distal edges;
- and (b) a curved middle portion positioned between the distal edges, such that (i) the curved middle portion of the clamp and the concave terminal edges on the front and rear legs are configured to sit around a perimeter of the first cylindrical member of the motorcycle stand, and such that (ii) the curved middle portion of the clamp and the concave terminal edge on the front end are configured to sit around a perimeter of the substantially vertical cylindrical member.
