Abstract
A fiber pulp processing system includes: a mixer including: a porous metallic material. The porous metallic material has been built by additive manufacturing, and at least a part of a surface of the porous metallic material has been polished by vibration polishing. The fiber-pulp processing system is configured such that, while the mixer mixes fiber pulp, a fluid is dispersed through the porous metallic material into the fiber pulp.

A fiber pulp processing system comprising:
- a mixer comprising:
- a porous metallic material, wherein:
- the porous metallic material has been built by additive manufacturing, and
- at least a part of a surface of the porous metallic material has been polished by vibration polishing;
- wherein the fiber-pulp processing system is configured such that, while the mixer mixes fiber pulp, a fluid is dispersed through the porous metallic material into the fiber pulp.

A method of operating a fiber pulp processing system, the method comprising:
- providing the fiber pulp processing system, which comprises a mixer comprising:
- a porous metallic material, wherein:
- the porous metallic material has been built by additive manufacturing, and
- at least a part of a surface of the porous metallic material has been polished by vibration polishing;
- and
- while the mixer mixes fiber pulp, dispersing a fluid through the porous metallic material into the fiber pulp.
