A press-formed product wherein main and reinforcing parts join together and has good manufacturability while securing excellent collision resistance performance and rigidity, and a production method of this press-formed product. A press-formed product has at least a top plate portion and a vertical wall portion, and includes a main part that constitutes the top plate portion and the vertical wall portion and a reinforcing part that is disposed straddling the top plate portion and the vertical wall portion and joined to an inner side or an outer side of the main part. The press-formed product includes a sloping portion of a planar shape between the top plate portion and the vertical wall portion on which the reinforcing part is disposed; a joint is provided at least in the sloping portion; and the width of an inner surface of the sloping portion is wider than the width of the joint.
