Claims22
A frame unit for accommodating a replaceable filter element, wherein the filter element comprises a plurality of pleats, the pleats extending in parallel to each other between opposite ends of the filter element in a longitudinal direction, wherein each pleat comprises a fold line defining a pleat tip and a pair of adjacent panels;
- wherein the frame unit further comprises:
- a frame comprising frame walls which each comprise an inner surface of the frame wall and an outer surface of the frame wall, wherein the frame walls define a filter accommodation compartment for accommodating the filter element, wherein the frame comprises two engagement ribs being along a longitudinal direction oppositely arranged to each other and which each define a groove which extends in a transversal direction along the inner surface of at least a portion of the frame walls;
- a fastener assembly for securing the filter element within the frame, the fastener assembly comprising two longitudinally opposed fasteners being pivotably mounted to the frame, wherein the fasteners are pivotable between a closed position and an open position, and wherein the fasteners are in the closed position configured to form a form locking and/or force locking engagement with the frame.
