Virtual vehicle generation

An information processing apparatus, comprising:

• processing circuitry configured to:
• output for display a part presentation element on a display of the processing apparatus, the part presentation element indicating one or more virtual parts possessed by a controlled virtual object in a virtual scene;
• determine whether the one or more virtual parts include a combination of virtual parts meeting a set of requirements of synthesizing a virtual vehicle;
• output for display a control element on the display when the one or more virtual parts are determined to include the combination of virtual parts meeting the set of requirements of synthesizing the virtual vehicle;
• output for display a model of the virtual vehicle on the display based on a first user interaction with the control element via a user interface of the information processing apparatus;
• determine, based on a second user interaction with the displayed model of the virtual vehicle, a target display position for the virtual vehicle within the virtual scene;
• and
• generate the virtual vehicle at the target display position within the virtual scene.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method of displaying a virtual vehicle in a virtual scene, the method comprises:

• outputting for display a part presentation element on a display of a terminal, the part presentation element indicating one or more virtual parts possessed by a controlled virtual object in the virtual scene;
• determining whether the one or more virtual parts include a combination of virtual parts meeting a set of requirements of synthesizing the virtual vehicle;
• outputting for display a control element on the display when the one or more virtual parts are determined to include the combination of virtual parts meeting the set of requirements of synthesizing the virtual vehicle;
• outputting for display a model of the virtual vehicle on the display based on a first user interaction with the control element via a user interface of the terminal;
• determining, based on a second user interaction with the displayed model of the virtual vehicle, a target display position for the virtual vehicle within the virtual scene;
• and
• generating the virtual vehicle at the target display position within the virtual scene.
