Dampeners for sporting equipment.
Claims20
An equipment, comprising:
- a body;
- and
- a vibration dampener associated with the body, wherein the vibration dampener comprises a polymeric composition comprising a butyl rubber and a phenol-formaldehyde resin, wherein the butyl rubber is in a range from 45% to 65% by weight of the polymeric composition and the phenol-formaldehyde resin is in a range from 5% to 15% by weight of the polymeric composition.
A vibration dampener for equipment, comprising:
- a polymeric composition, the polymeric composition comprising a butyl rubber and a phenol-formaldehyde resin, wherein the butyl rubber is in a range from 45% to 65% by weight of the polymeric composition and the phenol-formaldehyde resin is in a range from 5% to 15% by weight of the polymeric composition;
- and
- wherein the polymeric composition is configured to be attached to an equipment comprising a body.
