An improved tree saddle assembly includes a saddle configured to wrap about a user for support while tethered to a tree by a tether line. A bridge line assembly provides two distinct, forward-extending loops: a first bridge line coupled to left and right attachment locations on a first portion of the saddle, and a separate second bridge line coupled to left and right attachment locations on a second portion of the saddle. Each bridge line forms a loop with an apex configured for attachment to the tether line. The first and second bridge line loops are independently adjustable in effective length, enabling selective repositioning of the saddle's first and second portions relative to one another while the user remains tethered. This independent adjustability permits fine-tuned balance and comfort adjustments, improving load distribution and user positioning without requiring disengagement from the tether.
