Abstract
The present invention relates to use of a 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative, particularly, to use of a 8-hydroxyquinoline derivative represented by general formula (I), a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a crystal form thereof, a solvate thereof, an isotope derivative thereof, or a prodrug thereof in the preparation of an antiviral drug, and particularly, to use thereof in the preparation of an anti-human papillomavirus drug. The definition of each group in the general formula (I) is the same as that in the description.

A method of treating or prevention a viral infection in a subject in need therefore, the method comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound of formula (I), a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a crystal form thereof, a solvate thereof, an isotope derivative thereof, or a prodrug thereof,
- wherein:
- Rx is each independently optional, and h is each independently 1, 2 or 3;
- Ry is selected from the group consisting of nitro and cyano, and k is 1 or 2;
- provided that not all Rx are H atoms simultaneously.
