Abstract
In an embodiment a device extending in an axial longitudinal direction and having a proximal end and a distal end includes a shaft assigned to an actuating element, wherein the distal end of the shaft coincides with the distal end of the device, and wherein the shaft comprises, at the distal end, an engagement section configured for engaging and rotating or retaining a complementary engagement section of an intramedullary nail, which is arrangeable oppositely to the device in the longitudinal direction, and a threaded element arranged at the distal end of the shaft, which is rotatable relative to the shaft about the longitudinal direction, and which is screwable onto a complementary thread of the intramedullary nail.

A device for actuating an intramedullary nail, wherein the device extends in an axial longitudinal direction and comprises a proximal end and a distal end, the device further comprising:
- a shaft assigned to an actuating element, wherein the distal end of the shaft coincides with the distal end of the device, and wherein the shaft comprises, at the distal end, an engagement section configured for engaging and rotating or retaining a complementary engagement section of the intramedullary nail, which is arrangeable oppositely to the device in the longitudinal direction;
- and
- a threaded element arranged at the distal end of the shaft, which is rotatable relative to the shaft about the longitudinal direction, and which is screwable onto a complementary thread of the intramedullary nail.
