The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher and a wash water filter module that secure a wide filtering area and thus provide a higher filtering force by forming a filtering mesh constituting the wash water filter module to have a cross-section in a wave shape having a plurality of valleys and ridges, and effectively detach food residues adhered to a filtering surface by a suction force during a drainage cycle as a suction force component acting on the food residues in a vertical direction of the filtering surface is increased by forming the filtering mesh to include a truncated cone shape with an expanding inclined angle that allows an inner diameter and an outer diameter of a horizontal cross-section to gradually increase downward.
