Abstract

A broadcast spreader for applying spreading material is proposed, which comprises a container carried by a frame for stockpiling the spreading material, the container having an essentially funnel-like, downwardly tapering section with an outlet opening. Situated downstream from the outlet opening is a metering element, downstream from which, in turn, a spinner disk is situated. The invention provides that the outlet opening is arranged on a separate outlet part of the container, which is detachably fastened to the essentially funnel-like, downwardly tapering section of the container and may be manufactured, for example, from a plastic material, for example in the form of an injection-molded part. It may furthermore be provided that a base of the outlet part provided with the outlet opening is designed as a separate base part, which is fixed to the outlet part.
