Haptic actuator

Abstract

A haptic actuator located at a back surface of a display panel includes: a piezoelectric element driven to generate vibration; and an amplifying member having the piezoelectric element attached to a back surface thereof and configured to amplify vibration caused by driving of the piezoelectric element and transmit the amplified vibration to the display panel. The amplifying member is configured such that both corners in a first direction are attached to the back surface of the display panel and a front surface of the amplifying member is spaced apart from the back surface of the display panel to form a gap. The amplifying member having a piezoelectric element attached to the back surface thereof is located at the back surface of the display panel, thereby amplifying vibration generated by driving of the piezoelectric element.
