Abstract
Disclosed here are a method and apparatus for using a resource in a wireless local area network supporting MLSR. A method of a first STA comprises operating in a listening state on a first link, receiving an initial control frame from a first AP on the first link, transitioning an operation state of the first STA from the listening state to a normal transmit/receive state after receiving the initial control frame, determining whether one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied for a preset time, and maintaining or transitioning the operation state of the first STA based on whether the one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied.
Claims20
A method of a first station (STA), the method comprising:
- operating in a listening state on a first link;
- receiving an initial control frame from a first access point (AP) on the first link;
- transitioning an operation state of the first STA from the listening state to a normal transmit/receive state after receiving the initial control frame;
- determining whether one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied for a preset time;
- and
- maintaining or transitioning the operation state of the first STA based on whether the one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied.
A first station (STA) comprising at least one processor,
- wherein the at least one processor causes the first STA to:
- operate in a listening state on a first link,
- receive an initial control frame from a first access point (AP) on the first link,
- transition an operation state of the first STA from the listening state to a normal transmit/receive state after receiving the initial control frame,
- determine whether one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied for a preset time, and
- maintain or transition the operation state of the first STA based on whether the one or more state maintenance conditions are satisfied.
