Abstract
An electronic device for changing a notification mode and a method therefor are provided. The electronic device includes communication circuitry, at least one processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions, when executed, configured to cause the at least one processor to establish communication with a wearable device through the communication circuitry, and upon identifying a change in an operation state of the wearable device, change from a first notification mode of the electronic device to a second notification mode according to the identified operation state of the wearable device.
Claims20
An electronic device comprising:
- communication circuitry;
- a display;
- memory storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors communicatively coupled to the communication circuitry, the display, and the memory,
- wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to:
- establish communication between the electronic device and a wearable device through the communication circuitry,
- identify that a location of the electronic device changed to a location corresponding to a first location, and
- based on identifying that the location of the electronic device changed to the location corresponding to the first location, change a notification mode of the electronic device to a first notification mode corresponding to the first location.
A method performed by an electronic device, the method comprising:
- establishing, by the electronic device through communication circuitry of the electronic device, communication between the electronic device and a wearable device;
- identifying, by the electronic device, that a location of the electronic device changed to a location corresponding to a first location;
- and
- based on identifying that the location of the electronic device changed to the location corresponding to the first location, changing, by the electronic device, a notification mode of the electronic device to a first notification mode corresponding to the first location.
A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a plurality of instructions which, when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- establishing, by the electronic device through communication circuitry of the electronic device, communication between the electronic device and a wearable device;
- identifying, by the electronic device, that a location of the electronic device changed to a location corresponding to a first location;
- and
- based on identifying that the location of the electronic device changed to the location corresponding to the first location, changing, by the electronic device, a notification mode of the electronic device to a first notification mode corresponding to the first location.
