The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to: identify movement of an animal included in a preview image acquired using the camera while the preview image is displayed on the display; acquire an image including the animal using a first exposure value through the camera based on determining the magnitude of the identified movement is greater than a threshold value; and acquire the image including the animal using a second exposure value that is greater than the first exposure value through the camera based on determining the magnitude of the identified movement is less than the threshold value.
