An audio data recordation and removal method for a practitioner interface device interacting with a server system, the method comprising:
- receiving electronically recorded audio data at the practitioner interface device in response to an input command at the practitioner interface device such that the electronically recorded audio data pertains to a health care session between a health care provider and a patient;
- transmitting the electronically recorded audio data from the practitioner interface device to the server system;
- in response to receiving an audio data receipt notification from the server system, removing the electronically recorded audio data from computer storage of the practitioner interface device;
- after receiving the audio data receipt notification from the server system, receiving at the practitioner interface device a task processing notification associated with remote processing of the electronically recorded audio data pertaining to the health care session between the health care provider and the patient;
- and
- after both said removing the electronically recorded audio data from the computer storage of the practitioner interface device and said receiving the task processing notification at the practitioner interface device, updating an onscreen interface of the practitioner interface device to indicate that said remote processing of the electronically recorded audio data is completed.

A computer system for audio data recordation and removal, the computer system comprising:
- one or more computers;
- and
- one or more computer memory devices interoperably coupled with the one or more computers and having tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable media storing one or more instructions that, when executed by the one or more computers, perform one or more operations comprising:
- receiving electronically recorded audio data at a practitioner interface device in response to an input command at the practitioner interface device such that the electronically recorded audio data pertains to a health care session between a health care provider and a patient;
- transmitting the electronically recorded audio data from the practitioner interface device to a server system;
- in response to receiving an audio data receipt notification from the server system, removing the electronically recorded audio data from computer storage of the practitioner interface device;
- after receiving the audio data receipt notification from the server system, receiving at the practitioner interface device a task processing notification associated with remote processing of the electronically recorded audio data pertaining to the health care session between the health care provider and the patient;
- and
- after both said removing the electronically recorded audio data from the computer storage of the practitioner interface device and said receiving the task processing notification at the practitioner interface device, updating an onscreen interface of the practitioner interface device to indicate that said remote processing of the electronically recorded audio data is completed.
