Abstract

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for automated teller machine (ATM) provisioned passkey enrollment. An example method includes receiving, from an ATM, a first ATM access request associated with a user and determining, based on a user identifier, a first user authentication result. The example method further includes receiving, from the ATM, a passkey enrollment request in response to a successful first user authentication result and determining, based on the passkey enrollment request, a passkey enrollment result. The example method further includes transmitting permissioned passkey enrollment instructions to the proximate user device in response to a successful passkey enrollment result and receiving, from the proximate user device, a public key. The example further includes storing the public key and device identifier in a user profile associated with the user.

Dependent claims

A method for automated teller machine (ATM) provisioned passkey enrollment, the method comprising:

receiving, by communications hardware and from an ATM, a first ATM access request associated with a user, wherein the first ATM access request comprises a user identifier;
determining, by a user authentication engine and based on the user identifier, a first user authentication result;
in response to a successful first user authentication result, receiving, by communications hardware and from the ATM, a passkey enrollment request, wherein the passkey enrollment request comprises a device identifier of a proximate user device and a user authentication factor associated with the user;
determining, by the user authentication engine and based on the passkey enrollment request, a passkey enrollment result;
in response to determining a successful passkey enrollment result, transmitting, by the communications hardware, permissioned passkey enrollment instructions to the proximate user device;
receiving, by the communications hardware and from the proximate user device, a public key;
and
storing, by a passkey management circuitry, the public key and the device identifier in a user profile associated with the user.
