Abstract
An engagement between a device of a service agent and a device of a user is enabled. A video stream is received from the device of the user. The video stream is processed to obtain a processed video stream. Processing the video stream includes selectively blurring or greying only visual information associated with a verification request in the video stream while transmitting portions that do not depict the visual information without blurring or greying. The processing is performed during the engagement preventing the service agent from viewing the visual information. The processed video stream is transmitted to the device of the service agent.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- enabling an engagement between a device of a service agent and a device of a user;
- receiving a video stream from the device of the user;
- processing, to obtain a processed video stream, the video stream by selectively blurring or greying only visual information associated with a verification request in the video stream while transmitting portions that do not depict the visual information without blurring or greying, wherein the processing is performed during the engagement preventing the service agent from viewing the visual information;
- and
- transmitting the processed video stream to the device of the service agent.
A system, comprising:
- one or more memories;
- and
- one or more processors, the one or more processors configured to execute instructions stored in the one or more memories to:
- enable an engagement between a device of a service agent and a device of a user;
- receive a video stream from the device of the user;
- process, to obtain a processed video stream, the video stream by selectively blurring or greying only visual information associated with a verification request in the video stream while transmitting portions that do not depict the visual information without blurring or greying, wherein the processing is performed during the engagement preventing the service agent from viewing the visual information;
- and
- transmit the processed video stream to the device of the service agent.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, perform operations comprising:
- enabling an engagement between a device of a service agent and a device of a user;
- receiving a video stream from the device of the user;
- processing, to obtain a processed video stream, the video stream by selectively blurring or greying only visual information associated with a verification request in the video stream while transmitting portions that do not depict the visual information without blurring or greying, wherein the processing is performed during the engagement preventing the service agent from viewing the visual information;
- and
- transmitting the processed video stream to the device of the service agent.
