Abstract
A diesel engine includes a turbocharger configured to compress intake air using a flow of exhaust gas, and an upstream-side intake pipe connected to the turbocharger. The upstream-side intake pipe extends upward and forward from the turbocharger in an engine front-rear direction. At least a part of the upstream-side intake pipe is arranged at a position overlapping with a radiator in a plan view taken along a vertical direction. The configuration allows efficient routing of the intake pipe while accommodating engine-mounted components within a limited installation space.
