Abstract
Methods and systems for manually overriding a touchless faucet system using an electronic or mechanical bypass. In a mechanical override system, the system includes a movably attached system that controls the touchless functionality of the faucet. In an electronic override system, the system includes a control box with which a user can interact to bypass or disable the touchless functionality of the faucet.

1-20. (canceled)
A faucet system, comprising:
- a fluid supply line including a first fitting and a second fitting, the supply line configured to couple a fluid source to a touchless faucet;
- and
- a control valve including a third fitting and a fourth fitting, the control valve electrically coupleable to the faucet to operate the control valve in response to a command from the touchless faucet,
- wherein the first fitting is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line or the third fitting of the control valve,
- wherein the fourth fitting of the control valve is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line,
- wherein the control valve is selectively removable from the fluid supply line allowing the first fitting and the second fitting to be directly connected so as to enable manual operation of the faucet.

A method of converting a touchless faucet to manual control, comprising:
- disconnecting a first fitting of a fluid supply from a third fitting of a control valve, the control valve electrically coupleable to the faucet to operate the control valve in response to a command from the touchless faucet;
- disconnecting a second fitting of the fluid supply from a fourth fitting of the control valve,
- wherein the first fitting is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line or the third fitting of the control valve,
- wherein the fourth fitting of the control valve is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line;
- removing the control valve from the fluid supply;
- and
- directly connecting the first fitting and the second fitting so as to enable manual operation of the faucet.
4 more elements
A faucet system comprising:
- a touchless faucet coupled to a sensor assembly configured to sense a presence of an object proximate to the sensor assembly, and, based on the sensed presence, dispense a fluid from an outlet of the touchless faucet;
- a fluid supply line including a first fitting and a second fitting, the supply line configured to couple a fluid source to the touchless faucet;
- and
- a control valve including a third fitting and a fourth fitting, the control valve electrically coupleable to the faucet to operate the control valve in response to a command from the touchless faucet,
- wherein the first fitting is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line or the third fitting of the control valve,
- wherein the fourth fitting of the control valve is compatibly coupleable to the second fitting of the supply line,
- wherein the control valve is selectively removable from the fluid supply line allowing the first fitting and the second fitting to be directly connected so as to enable manual operation of the faucet.
