Abstract
A method is described for preparing organochorosilane CS by reacting at least one silicone S with a metal chloride or metalloid CM in the presence of at least one metal salt catalyst SM, wherein the metal chloride or metalloid CM is different from the metal salt SM.

A method of preparing organochlorosilane CS, the method comprising reacting at least one silicone S with a metal or metalloid chloride MC in the presence of at least one metal salt catalyst MS, wherein the metal or metalloid chloride MC is different from the metal salt MS.
