Electric Bicycle and Charging Device for Use in Such an Electric Bicycle

An electric bicycle, comprising:

• a bicycle frame, comprising a frame part,
• a steering system, comprising:
• a steering assembly, comprising:
• a fork comprising a steerer tube being at least partially inserted in said frame part, wherein said fork is rotatably secured to said frame part, and
• a handlebar fixedly connected to said steerer tube,
• a plurality of electronic accessories mounted to said steering assembly,
• at least one first control unit, mounted to said steering assembly, wherein each of a plurality of electronic accessories is connected by at least one accessory cable to said first control unit, wherein each accessory cable is entirely accommodated within the steering assembly, and wherein said first control unit is connected to at least one control cable and/or at least one power cable;
• and wherein the number of said connected accessory cable exceeds the total number of connected control cables and/or power cables;
• and
• wherein the bicycle further comprises at least one second control unit mounted to said bicycle frame, wherein said first control unit is connected by said at least one control cable and/or said at least one power cable, directly or indirectly, to said second control unit.
