Claims7
A bicycle mounted message signaling system comprising:
- a smartphone attached to the handlebars of said bicycle;
- and
- an electronic device attached to the rear structure of said bicycle, said device having a screen display,
- wherein voice commands spoken into said smartphone by a cyclist are transmitted wirelessly to said device with the result that visual messages representing said commands are made visible to persons behind and in close proximity to said bicycle.
A motorcycle mounted message signaling system comprising:
- a smartphone attached to the handlebars of said motorcycle;
- and
- an electronic device attached to the rear structure of said motorcycle, said device having a screen display,
- wherein voice commands spoken into said smartphone by a cyclist are transmitted wirelessly to said device with the result that visual messages representing said commands are made visible to persons behind and in close proximity to said motorcycle.
A method to provide a confirmed visual message to drivers of vehicles behind and in close proximity to a cyclist comprising the steps of:
- said cyclist speaking a message into a smartphone;
- using speech recognition software to analyze the output of said smartphone;
- matching the output of such speech recognition software to the entries in a library of images stored in a database;
- using a signal corresponding to a matched image as an input to a screen display attached to the rear of said cycle;
- displaying said image on said screen display;
- and
- providing an audible confirmation to said cyclist of said image as so displayed,
- whereby a visual message corresponding to said spoken message is provided to drivers behind and in close proximity to said cyclist and audible confirmation of said visual messages is provided to said cyclist.
An method for advertising to drivers of vehicles behind and in close proximity to a cyclist comprising the steps of:
- said cyclist speaking an advertising message into a smartphone;
- using speech recognition software to analyze the output of said smartphone;
- matching the output of such speech recognition software to the entries in a library of advertising images stored in a database;
- using a signal corresponding to a matched advertising image as an input to a screen display attached to the rear of said cycle;
- displaying said advertising image on said screen display;
- and
- providing an audible confirmation to said cyclist of said advertising image as so displayed,
- whereby a visual advertising message corresponding to said spoken message is provided to drivers behind and in close proximity to said cyclist and audible confirmation of said visual advertising message is provided to said cyclist.
