Abstract
In one embodiment, a method of dismantling an electricity storage device includes: preparing a battery; cutting the battery with a band saw blade; and applying a laser beam to cutting chips adhering to the band saw blade to remove the cutting chips adhering to the band saw blade.

A method of dismantling an electricity storage device, comprising:
- preparing the electricity storage device;
- cutting the electricity storage device with a band saw blade;
- and
- applying a laser beam to cutting chips adhering to the band saw blade to remove the cutting chips adhering to the band saw blade.

- a table on which the electricity storage device is placed;
- a fixture fixing the electricity storage device placed on the table;
- a band saw blade;
- a drive mechanism driving the band saw blade;
- and
