Provided herein are novel exosomal compositions that exhibit cytotoxicity and method of treating cancer that utilize such exosomal compositions.

An exosomal composition comprising exosomes that comprise the nucleotide sequence of GGCUCAAGUUAAAAGUGGATT (SEQ ID NO:
- 1) and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein said exosomes are secreted from placental derived natural killer (CYNK) cells.
A method for treating cancer, comprising the steps of:
- (i) administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of an exosomal composition comprising:
- (a) exosomes secreted from placental derived natural killer (CYNK) cells, wherein the exosomes comprise the nucleotide sequence of GGCUCAAGUUAAAAGUGGATT (SEQ ID NO:
- 1);
- and (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient;
- and (ii) administering to the subject effective amount of a population of the placental derived natural killer (CYNK) cells.
