Abstract

A cleansing composition including: (A) from 9 to 50% by mass of a nonionic surfactant including: (a1) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 8.5 or more and less than 12.5, (a2) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 12.5 or more and 18 or less, and (a3) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 1.8 or more and less than 8.5; (B) from 45 to 90% by mass of an oil phase having a viscosity at 25° C. of 12.0 mPa·s or less; and (C) from 0.05 to 15% by mass of water, an alcohol having 2 to 3 carbon atoms, and/or a polyol. A mass ratio of the component (C) to the component (A), (C)/(A) is 0.40 or less, and a mass ratio of the component (a2) to the total amount of the components (a1) and (a3), (a2)/[(a1)+ (a3)], is from 0.5 to 2.5.

Dependent claims

A cleansing composition comprising the following components (A), (B) and (C):

(A) from 9 to 50% by mass of a nonionic surfactant comprising:
(a1) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of from 8.5 to less than 12.5,
(a2) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of from 12.5 to 18, and
(a3) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of from 1.8 to less than 8.5,
wherein a mass ratio of the component (a2) to the total amount of the components (a1) and (a3), (a2)/[(a1)+ (a3)], is from 0.5 to 2.5;
(B) from 45 to 90% by mass of an oil phase having a viscosity at 25° C. of 12.0 mPa·s or less;
and
(C) from 0.05 to 15% by mass of one or more selected from the group consisting of water, an alcohol having 2 to 3 carbon atoms and a polyol,
wherein a mass ratio of the component (C) to the component (A), (C)/(A) is 0.40 or less.
