Abstract
A conversion device includes conversion elements respectively having avalanche photodiodes that receive light corresponding to respective colors of a plurality of color filters, and counters that count and output the number of output signals from the avalanche photodiodes. Recharge cycles of the avalanche photodiodes corresponding to the respective colors are made different for each color.

A conversion device comprising:
- conversion elements respectively having avalanche photodiodes that receive light corresponding to respective colors of a plurality of color filters, and counters that count and output a number of output signals from the avalanche photodiodes;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory coupled to the at least one processor, the at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
- make recharge cycles of the avalanche photodiodes corresponding to the respective colors different for each color.
A conversion method for controlling conversion elements respectively having avalanche photodiodes that receive light corresponding to respective colors of a plurality of color filters, and counters that count and output the number of output signals from the avalanche photodiodes, the method comprising:
- making recharge cycles of the avalanche photodiodes corresponding to the respective colors different for each color.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for executing a method for
- controlling conversion elements respectively having avalanche photodiodes that receive light corresponding to respective colors of a plurality of color filters, and counters that count and output the number of output signals from the avalanche photodiodes, the method comprising:
