Cable gland

A cable gland sealing member comprising:

• a sleeve arranged to be slidably received within a passage defined in a cable gland body, the sleeve comprising,
• a first end having an annular side wall with a constant diameter extending partially along an axial length,
• a second end opposite to the first end, the second end including a rim configured to engage with a ledge of the cable gland body to prevent withdrawal in an axial direction, and
• a groove disposed along the annular side wall;
• and
• a clip including a base received within the groove and a prong that extends away from the base toward a center of the passage, wherein the prong is configured to contact a cable;
• wherein an outer surface of the sleeve is configured to form a seal with the cable gland body.

A cable gland comprising:

• a body having a wall defining a passage extending in an axial direction from a first end to a second end, the passage of the cable gland arranged to receive a cable;
• a cable gland sealing member received within the passage and comprising,
• a sleeve arranged to be slidably received within a passage defined in a cable gland body, the sleeve comprising,
• a first end having an annular side wall with a constant diameter extending partially along an axial length,
• a second end opposite to the first end, the second end including a rim configured to engage with a ledge of the body to prevent withdrawal in an axial direction, and
• a groove disposed along the annular side wall;
• and
• a clip including a base received within the groove and a prong that extends away from the base toward a center of the passage, wherein the prong is configured to contact a cable.
