Abstract
A method for determining a standard plane in a medical image, the method including: determining at least one region of interest in the medical image, determining at least one candidate plane of the region of interest, determining at least one anatomical structure in the region of interest or in the medical image, selecting a plane from the group of the candidate planes based on the presence or the absence of the anatomical structure in the candidate plane, the selected plane being the standard plane.

A method for determining a standard plane in a medical image, said method comprising:
- determining at least one region of interest in the medical image,
- determining at least one candidate plane of said region of interest,
- determining at least one anatomical structure in the region of interest or in the medical image,
- selecting a plane from the group of said candidate planes based on the presence or the absence of said anatomical structure in said candidate plane, said selected plane being the standard plane.
