Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• an apparatus main body;
• a transfer roller;
• a drum cartridge which is attachable to and detachable from the apparatus main body in a first direction intersecting with a direction of gravitational force, the drum cartridge including:
• a photosensitive drum which rotates around a rotational axis extending in a second direction intersecting with both the first direction and the direction of gravitational force, the photosensitive drum being configured to form a transfer nip portion for transferring a toner image to a recording material in conjunction with the transfer roller;
• and
• a blade which is in abutting contact with the photosensitive drum, the blade being configured to scrape residual toner remaining on the photosensitive drum without being transferred to the recording material;
• a development cartridge which is attachable to and detachable from the drum cartridge and is attachable to and detachable from the apparatus main body while being mounted to the drum cartridge, the development cartridge including a development roller configured to supply toner to the photosensitive drum;
• a residual toner container which is attachable to and detachable from the apparatus main body in the second direction independently from the drum cartridge and the development cartridge and is configured to contain the residual toner scraped from the photosensitive drum by the blade, the residual toner container being provided at one end portion in the second direction of the apparatus main body;
• and
• a first exterior member which covers an end surface in the second direction of the one end portion of the apparatus main body from outside,
• wherein the residual toner container is provided with a second exterior member which covers the end surface of the apparatus main body from outside.
