Abstract

Disclosed is an image forming apparatus including: an image forming portion to form a toner image on a sheet; a fixing portion to fix the toner image formed on the sheet at a nip portion formed between a fixing member and a pressure member; a cleaning portion to collect toner attached to the fixing member; a controller to control the fixing member such that the fixing member operates at a set adjusted temperature; and a display control portion to display a screen at a display portion, wherein when the controller performs an operation mode in which the controller controls the fixing member such that the fixing member operates at an adjusted temperature higher than a preset temperature, the display control portion performs a warning process to urge a cleaning operation that cleans the nip portion using a sheet passing through the nip portion based on print information of a print without margin performed before the operation mode, a toner image being formed until at least one end portion in the print without margin.
