Abstract
Provided are a method and apparatus for predicting a current of a load in an autotransformer. A processor is configured to obtain a value of a current of a first input terminal and a value of a current of a first stage of an autotransformer, predict whether a plurality of loads are unbalanced, based on the value of the current of the first input terminal, the value of the current of the first stage, and a characteristic of the autotransformer, and determine whether to open a relay, based on a result of the prediction and a current flowing through the autotransformer, wherein a turn ratio of the autotransformer is 1.
Claims18
A method of predicting a current of a load in an autotransformer, the method comprising:
- obtaining a value of a current of a first input terminal and a value of a current of a first stage of the autotransformer;
- predicting whether a plurality of loads are unbalanced, based on the value of the current of the first input terminal, the value of the current of the first stage, and a characteristic of the autotransformer;
- and
- determining whether to open a relay, based on a result of the prediction and a current flowing through the autotransformer,
- wherein a turn ratio of the autotransformer is 1.
A processor configured to:
