Stackable storage containers with stacking self-lock and multi-drawer modules

A method of locking multiple drawers, the method comprising:

• placing one or more drawers into a drawer housing;
• pushing all of the one or more drawers fully into the drawer housing;
• moving a drawer lock actuator included on a drawer housing;
• and
• simultaneously coupling a plurality of lock protrusions with a plurality of protrusion receivers to lock all of the one or more drawers in the drawing housing, wherein the coupling of the plurality of lock protrusions with the plurality of protrusion receivers is independent of a number of the drawers placed into the drawer housing.

A locking system for one or more drawers in a modular drawer housing, the locking system comprising:

• a modular drawer housing to contain one or more drawers, movable in and out of the drawer housing;
• and
• a vertically moving locking actuator, moving a lock slider vertically, the lock slider having a plurality of protrusions to engage a corresponding plurality of lock protrusion receivers of all the drawers in the drawer housing, to lock the plurality of drawers inside the drawer housing;
• wherein
• the plurality of protrusions engage the corresponding plurality of lock protrusion receivers independently of a number and size of the one or more drawers.
