Abstract
A novel pulp composition having oil resistance and/or water resistance is provided by a pulp composition comprising a liquid-repellent compound and a pulp substrate, wherein the liquid-repellent compound is a compound having a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent, and is not a fatty acid ester having a glycoside bond, and the pulp substrate comprises bagasse pulp.

A pulp composition comprising a liquid-repellent compound and a pulp substrate, wherein
- the liquid-repellent compound is a compound having a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent, and is not a fatty acid ester having a glycoside bond, and
- the pulp substrate comprises bagasse pulp.
A method for producing a pulp composition, comprising treating a pulp substrate with a repellent comprising a liquid repellent compound, wherein
- the liquid-repellent compound is a compound having a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms and optionally having a substituent, and is not a fatty acid ester having a glycoside bond, and
- the pulp substrate comprises bagasse pulp.
