Abstract
Centralized control of multiple sorting facilities is disclosed, including: a feedback interface configured to collect sorting results feedback data from a first sorting facility, wherein the first sorting facility is associated with a second sorting facility; and one or more processors configured to reconfigure a set of sorting facility devices located in the second sorting facility based at least in part on the sorting results feedback data.
Claims20
A management control system, comprising:
- a feedback interface configured to collect sorting results feedback data from a first sorting facility, wherein a first set of sorting facility devices at the first sorting facility is configured to sort through a raw material stream including by removing at least some residue from the raw material stream to generate pre-sorted material output that excludes the removed at least some residue, wherein the sorting results feedback data further comprises a material purity rate associated with the pre-sorted material output, wherein the pre-sorted material output is transported by one or more vehicles from the first sorting facility to a second sorting facility that is associated with the first sorting facility;
- and
- one or more processors configured to:
- reconfigure a second set of sorting facility devices located in the second sorting facility based at least in part on the sorting results feedback data comprising the material purity rate associated with the pre-sorted material output, wherein to reconfigure the second set of sorting facility devices based on the material purity rate associated with the pre-sorted material output comprises to cause a set of second sorting facility suppression criteria to be used by a second sorting facility sorting device to be more stringent than a set of first sorting facility suppression criteria that was used by a first sorting facility sorting device;
- and
- cause the second sorting facility sorting device to perform a sorting operation on a target object identified in the pre-sorted material output based at least in part on the set of second sorting facility suppression criteria.
