Eco-friendly liquid deicing agent with suppressed concrete breakage

Abstract

An eco-friendly liquid deicing agent with suppressed concrete breakage is disclosed. The eco-friendly liquid deicing agent contains a chloride-based material, a penetrating sealer and a dispersant, may improve resistance to freezing and thawing by enhancing the compressive strength of concrete and blocking the permeation of moisture, thereby resulting in improved lifespan of concrete. In addition, the deicing agent can be sprayed in liquid form, it is easy to remove snow and has excellent initial ice-melting performance, and thus it may be effectively used for snow removal on bridges, ramps and highways that require fast initial ice-melting performance and where catastrophic damage is caused by asphalt road damage.
