Abstract
A coating liquid includes emulsion particles containing a binder resin, aerogel particles, a water-soluble polymer having a hydrophobic group, and a liquid medium, wherein the binder resin contains a structural unit derived from a first monomer having a homopolymer Tg of lower than 0° C.

A coating liquid comprising:
- emulsion particles containing a binder resin;
- aerogel particles;
- a water-soluble polymer having a hydrophobic group;
- and
- a liquid medium, wherein
- the binder resin contains a structural unit derived from a first monomer having a homopolymer Tg of lower than 0° C.

A method for producing a coating liquid, the method comprising:
- an emulsion preparation step of preparing an emulsion including emulsion particles containing a binder resin, and a first liquid medium;
- a dispersion preparation step of mixing aerogel particles, a water-soluble polymer having a hydrophobic group, and a second liquid medium to obtain a dispersion containing the aerogel particles, the water-soluble polymer, and the second liquid medium;
- and
- a coating liquid production step of mixing the emulsion and the dispersion to obtain a coating liquid, wherein
- the binder resin contains a structural unit derived from a first monomer having a homopolymer Tg of lower than 0° C.
