Abstract
A suction mount for mounting to a surface an accessory for a handheld electronic including a suction mount housing having an interface securable to the accessory for the handheld electronic device. A suction cup is disposed within a bore of the housing for engaging the surface by vacuum engagement.

A suction mount for mounting to a surface, the mount comprising:
- a housing comprising a top, a bottom defining a bore, and an arcuate ledge disposed between the top and the bottom;
- a suction cup disposed at least partially within the bore and configured to engage the surface;
- and
- a lever pivotally mounted to the housing and coupled to the suction cup, wherein the lever is pivotable between a first position and a second position,
- wherein, when the lever is in the first position, the suction mount is in an engaged configuration mounted to the surface and the lever is disposed adjacent to the arcuate ledge.

A suction mount for mounting to a surface, the mount comprising:
- a housing comprising a top, a bottom, a ledge, and a bore formed in the housing, wherein the ledge extends around a portion of a perimeter of the housing and is disposed between the top and the bottom of the housing;
- a suction assembly disposed at least partially within the bore and configured to engage the surface;
- and
- a lever pivotally mounted to the housing and coupled to the suction assembly, wherein the lever comprises a first end disposed on a first side of the housing and a second end disposed on a second side of the housing opposite the first side of the housing.
