Abstract
A curved winding tube assembly for a roller blind system includes a static inner tube and a segmented outer wherein a first segment of the segmented outer tube provides bearing support to a floating end of the static inner tube and wherein a securing member engages a plurality of interconnected. A roller blind assembly includes such a curved winding tube.

A curved winding tube assembly for a roller blind system, comprising:
- a static inner tube having a curvature;
- a segmented outer tube comprising a plurality of interconnected segments wherein a first segment of the segmented outer tube provides bearing support to a floating end of the static inner tube;
- and
- a securing member engaging the plurality of interconnected segments thereby maintaining their relative position with respect to each other.

A roller blind system for a roof assembly comprising:
- a curved winding tube assembly comprising:
- a static inner tube having a curvature;
- a segmented outer tube comprising a plurality of interconnected segments wherein a first segment of the segmented outer tube provides bearing support to a floating end of the static inner tube;
- and
- a securing member engaging the plurality of interconnected segments thereby maintaining their relative position with respect to each other;
- and
- a motor coupled to the first segment to rotate the segmented outer tube.
