Abstract
A vehicle includes a cabin area, a cargo area, a seat, and a gate. The seat is disposed in the cabin area, and configured to pivot in a forward direction of the vehicle. The gate is disposed between the cabin area and the cargo area, and is movable between a closed configuration providing at least a partial barrier between the cabin area and the cargo area and an open configuration in which the gate is pivoted to a position contacting the floor of the cabin area.

A vehicle comprising:
- a cabin area having a floor;
- a cargo area;
- a seat disposed in the cabin area, the seat configured to pivot in a forward direction of the vehicle;
- and
- a gate disposed between the cabin area and the cargo area, the gate movable between a closed configuration providing at least a partial barrier between the cabin area and the cargo area and an open configuration in which the gate is pivoted to a position contacting the floor of the cabin area.

A cargo extending system for a vehicle, comprising:
- a cabin area having a floor;
- a cargo area having a cargo bed surface;
- a seat disposed in the cabin area, the seat configured to pivot in a forward direction of the vehicle to expose the floor;

- a gate disposed between the cabin area and the cargo area, the gate having a first surface and a second surface, the gate movable between a closed configuration in which the first surface faces in a direction of the cabin area and an open configuration in which the second surface of the gate is generally planar with the cargo bed surface.
