Abstract
A vehicle exterior panel includes a panel body and a protector. The panel body is configured to be attached to an exterior member forming a part of an outer shell of a vehicle. The protector is formed of an elastic material and extends along a peripheral edge of the panel body between the panel body and the exterior member. The panel body includes a base material made of a resin, and a decorative layer laminated on an outer surface of the base material. The protector includes an extending portion that extends from between the panel body and the exterior member and covers, from an outer side, a boundary between the decorative layer and the base material. The boundary is located at the peripheral edge of the panel body.

A vehicle exterior panel, comprising:
- a panel body configured to be attached to an exterior member forming a part of an outer shell of a vehicle;
- and
- a protector formed of an elastic material and extending along a peripheral edge of the panel body between the panel body and the exterior member, wherein
- the panel body includes:
- a base material made of a resin;
- and
- a decorative layer laminated on an outer surface of the base material, and
- the protector includes an extending portion that extends from between the panel body and the exterior member and covers, from an outer side, a boundary between the decorative layer and the base material, the boundary being located at the peripheral edge of the panel body.
