Tyre, a part of a mould for manufacturing a tyre, and a method for manufacturing a tyre

A part for a mould for manufacturing a tyre, the part for the mould configured to be removably fixed to the mould, the part for the mould comprising:

• a body having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface,
• a fixing means on the second surface for attaching the body to the mould for manufacturing the tyre, and
• a post protruding from the first surface, wherein
• the first surface is curved in a first direction and in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction such that the first surface is concave, whereby the first surface is configured to form a part of a tread of a tyre, and
• a height of the post is at least 6 mm.

A method for manufacturing a tyre in a mould, the method comprising:

• unfastening a first part from the mould,
• fastening a second part to the mould to the same location from which the first part was unfastened,
• arranging a green tyre into the mould, and
• vulcanizing the green tyre in the mould to form the tyre, wherein
• the first part or the second part is a part for the mould according to 8.
