Motor core manufacturing method and motor core manufacturing apparatus

A motor core manufacturing apparatus, comprising:

• a mold configured to hold a motor core including a resin filling portion;
• a chamber formed in the mold and having one end communicated with a resin filling path communicated with the resin filling portion;
• an extruder configured to convey a powdery resin composition toward the chamber while kneading the powdery resin composition;
• a plunger movable in the chamber;
• a heater disposed in the mold and around the chamber;
• and
• a processor, the processor being configured to:
• hold the motor core in the mold such that the resin filling path is communicated with the resin filling portion;
• convey a resin kneaded body at least partially containing a granular resin composition toward the chamber communicated with the resin filling path using the extruder that conveys the powdery resin composition while kneading the powdery resin composition so as to form the resin kneaded body;
• heat and soften the resin kneaded body conveyed into the chamber;
• operate the plunger to fill a softened resin obtained by softening the resin kneaded body in the chamber into the resin filling portion;
• and
• cure the softened resin filled in the resin filling portion.
