Working machine

A working machine comprising:

• a motor that rotates with front-back direction as its axis;
• a housing with a motor housing that houses the motor and a gear housing that is disposed on front of the motor housing;
• a spindle supported by the gear housing, extending in up-down direction, rotating by transmission of a driving force of the motor, and to which a disc-shaped tip tool is removably attached at a lower portion;
• a guard member attached to the gear housing and covering at least a portion of the tip tool;
• and
• a lighting device that is provided lower than an axis of the motor and illuminates an area around the lower portion of the spindle;
• wherein, the lighting device is at least partially provided above the guard member and on at least one of left and right sides of the housing, and the lighting device is visible from the front of the housing through a space created by a forward opening or a left-right recess set in the housing.

A working machine comprising:

• a motor that rotates with front-back direction as its axis;
• a housing with a motor housing that houses the motor and a gear housing that is disposed on front of the motor housing;
• a spindle supported by the gear housing, extending in up-down direction, rotating by transmission of a driving force of the motor, and to which a disc-shaped tip tool is removably attached at a lower portion;
• a guard member attached to the gear housing and covering at least a portion of the tip tool;
• a handle mounting portion provided at the gear housing to which a side handle that can be grasped by an operator can be mounted;
• and
• a lighting device having a light emitter positioned above the guard member and below the handle mounting portion, and the light emitter irradiates light around the lower portion of the spindle.
