Abstract
A pool sweep system is a self-propelled manual Swifty Pool Sweep which is built from rugged materials to withstand everyday pool cleaning activities. The pool sweep system manually attaches to standard pool extension poles. The pool pole attachment on the pool sweep system includes a swivel design that allows for easy maneuvering during cleaning. The pool sweep system preferably comes fully assembled with four replaceable gear driven wheels that rotate the replaceable bristle/paddle brush. The pool sweep system contains two (2) debris holding compartments (front and back of pool sweep system) that trap the debris being collected from the pool floor.
Claims20
A pool sweep system comprising:
- a pool sweep assembly including,
- a body,
- a coupler having a swivel which allows for maneuvering during a manual cleaning,
- a bristle/paddle brush,
- at least one wheels that rotate, and
- at least one debris holding compartment to trap at least one debris as collected from a pool surface, and
- wherein said pool sweep assembly is configured for removable attachment to a standard pool extension pole and useful for said manual cleaning of said pool surface.
A pool sweep system comprising:
- a pool sweep assembly including,
- a body,
- a coupler having a swivel which allows for maneuvering during a manual cleaning,
- a bristle/paddle brush,
- at least one wheels that rotate,
- a bristle wheel,
- at least one axle shaft for driving said wheels,
- at least one louvers being at least one horizontal slats to admit air for circulation, and
- at least one debris holding compartment to trap at least one debris as collected from a pool surface,
- wherein said bristle/paddle brush is replaceable and removably couplable to said body,
- wherein said wheels are gear driven,
- wherein said at least one debris holding compartment comprise two of said at least one debris holding compartments, each spring loaded, one located at a front end of said body and another at a back of the body,
- wherein depending on forward or backward motion of said manual cleaning said debris is swept and trapped in one or both of said debris holding compartments,
- wherein said swivel comprises a through hole,
- wherein said swivel allows up to 360 degrees of a rotation,
- wherein said swivel is sized to fit about an outer circumference of a standard pool extension pole,
- wherein said through hole is configured to removably receive a pin, and
- wherein said pool sweep assembly is configured for removable attachment to said standard pool extension pole and useful for the manual cleaning of said pool surface.
A method of using a pool sweep system comprising the steps of:
- providing a pool sweep system,
- assembling said pool sweep assembly to a standard pool extension pole, and
- manually manipulating said pool sweep system to clean at least one debris from a pool surface.
