An electronic wind instrument, comprising:
- a cylindrical housing;
- a shaft mounted on an outer side of the housing and arranged on a straight line parallel to an axial direction of the housing;
- a plurality of operators respectively supported rotatably relative to the housing around the shaft on the straight line and rotationally operated by a performer;
- and
- a plurality of detection portions individually directly detecting rotation itself of the plurality of operators respectively.
An operation detection method in an electronic wind instrument that comprises a cylindrical housing;
- a shaft mounted on an outer side of the housing and arranged on a straight line parallel to an axial direction of the housing;
- a plurality of operators respectively supported rotatably relative to the housing around the shaft on the straight line and rotationally operated by a performer;
- and a plurality of detection portions respectively detecting rotation of the plurality of operators, the operation detection method comprising:
- individually directly detecting rotation itself of the plurality of operators by each of the plurality of detection portions.
