Abstract
A sensor assembly for detecting a fluorophore in a well fluid includes a first light source for emitting a first light to excite the fluorophore at a predetermined point in the well fluid, a first light detector for detecting a light emitted from the fluorophore in response to the first light, and a light transparent member located between the well fluid and the first light source and first light detector and defining an outer surface and an inner surface in fluid communication with the well fluid.

A sensor assembly for detecting a fluorophore in a well fluid, the sensor assembly comprising:
- (a) a first light source for emitting a first light to excite the fluorophore at a predetermined point in the well fluid;
- (b) a first light detector for detecting a light emitted from the fluorophore in response to the first light;
- and
- (c) a light transparent member located between the well fluid and the first light source and first light detector and defining an outer surface and an inner surface in fluid communication with the well fluid.
