Abstract
A rifle mount comprising a side wall with a front portion and a back portion extending therefrom to define an interior compartment that is configured to receive a pistol grip and a magazine cartridge holder of a rifle. The back portion is configured to flex during insertion of the rifle and rebounds to its original position to secure the rifle in place within the rifle mount.

A rifle mount comprising:
- a side wall with a front portion and a back portion extending therefrom to define an interior compartment, the interior compartment configured to receive a pistol grip and a magazine cartridge holder of a rifle,
- wherein the back portion is operable to flex during insertion of the rifle and rebound to its original position to secure the rifle in place within the rifle mount.
A rifle mount for securing an AR platform rifle comprising:
- a housing operable to receive the lower receiver of the AR platform rifle, the housing comprising a side wall, a back portion, a front portion, a trigger guard support, and a quick release mechanism,
- wherein the quick release mechanism is coupled to the back portion and operable to release the rifle from the housing.
A rifle mount for securing an AR platform rifle comprising:
- a side wall with a front portion and a back portion extending therefrom to define an interior compartment, the interior compartment configured to receive a pistol grip and a magazine cartridge holder of the AR platform rifle,
- the side wall further comprising a notch operable to prevent a safety switch of the AR platform rifle from being activated while inserted within the rifle mount.
