Abstract
A bearing assembly includes at least one bearing ring and a brush assembly. The brush assembly includes a flange and at least one brush fixed to the flange. The at least one bearing ring has a recess and the flange is fixed to the recess of the at least one bearing ring of the bearing assembly to attach the brush assembly with the bearing ring.

A bearing assembly comprising:
- a bearing ring having a recess;
- and
- a brush assembly including a flange and at least one brush fixed to the flange, the flange being fixed to the recess of the bearing ring.
