Surface covering assembly and floor

A floor, comprising a surface covering assembly, the surface covering assembly comprising:

• at least one first panel part comprising a first edge portion, a limiting groove being formed in a side of the first edge portion in a first direction;
• at least one second panel part configured to be mounted on a side, where the first edge portion is located, of the first panel part;
• the second panel part comprising a second edge portion, the second edge portion comprising a limiting structure, the limiting structure being arranged on a side of the first edge portion in the first direction and partially located in the limiting groove to limit the first edge portion in a second direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction;
• the second edge portion and the first edge portion being enclosed to form a slot, the slot being located on a side, away from the limiting structure, of the first edge portion, and a slot opening being formed in the side away from the limiting structure;
• and
• at least one locking part configured to be embedded in the slot and exposed from the slot opening, the locking part abutting against the first edge portion and the second edge portion to press the first edge portion against the limiting structure.
